We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's agree together in Jesus' name for your workplace situation.
Firstly, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This is our prayer for you, that God's peace will guard your heart and mind, driving out all fear and anxiety.
Regarding your boss, we pray that God would soften her heart and grant her wisdom to see the good work you are doing. We are reminded of Proverbs 21:1 (WEB), "The king's heart is in God's hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires." Just as God can influence the heart of a king, He can also influence the heart of your boss.
We also pray that you would continue to find favor with parents and students. As it is written in Proverbs 3:3-4 (WEB), "Don't let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor, and good understanding in the sight of God and man."
However, we must remember that our ultimate trust is not in the favor of others, but in God. Even if your boss continues to micro-manage, know that God is in control and has a purpose in it. As explained in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister/brother who is feeling anxious about their workplace. Lord, we ask that you would grant her/him your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. Soften her/his boss's heart, Lord, and help her to see the good work being done. Help our sister/brother to continue to find favor with parents and students. But most importantly, Lord, help her/him to trust in You, knowing that all things work together for good for those who love You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we commend you for ending your request "In Jesus' name". It is so important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
