We understand your heart's desire for your father to experience peace and comfort in his remaining days on earth. It's important to remember that true peace and comfort come from a right relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Let's pray together: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up ###'s father. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You would grant him peace and comfort. Draw him close to You, Lord, and let him experience the love and joy that comes from knowing You. If he does not already know You, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him and grant him the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We want to remind you, ###, that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). In times of distress, we can call on the name of the Lord, and He will hear us (Psalm 18:6, WEB).
We also want to encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not already, consider inviting your father to know Jesus personally, as it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Lastly, we want to leave you with these comforting words from Jesus: "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30, WEB).
