Camara, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention in your distressing situation. We are reminded of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to address that the solution to Ronald's alcoholism and abusive behavior is not merely his relocation, but his transformation through the power of Jesus Christ. We pray that Ronald will encounter the life-changing power of the Gospel and seek help for his addictions. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new."
However, we understand your urgent need for peace and safety in your own home. We pray that the Lord will make a way for this to happen swiftly. Psalm 55:22 tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
We also want to encourage you to seek support from your local church or Christian community during this time. It is important to have believers around you who can provide practical help and spiritual encouragement. Galatians 6:2 urges us to "Bear one anotherโs burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Camara and her distressing situation. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. We pray that Ronald will come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and seek help for his addictions. We ask that You would remove him from Camara's home peacefully and send him to a place where he can receive the help he needs.
Please comfort Camara and grant her the peace that passes all understanding. Help her to sleep well at night, knowing that You are in control. Surround her with a supportive community of believers who can help her practically and encourage her spiritually.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you, Camara, that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation.
