Let us join together in lifting up this dear soul and their family in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in their lives.
We are reminded of the words of Scripture in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." It is wonderful that this prayer is offered in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we can be saved. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus answered, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. There is no one who comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up this beloved family. We thank You for Your loving kindness and faithfulness. Lord, we ask for Your protection and healing over this family. Grow them in the knowledge and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that they may walk in His ways and serve Him with all their hearts.
Father, we ask for Your blessings upon their health, that You would strengthen them and protect them from all sickness and disease. We pray for Your provision in their finances, that You would supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide them in their relationships, that they may be a light to those around them, and that You would bless them and protect them.
And God we pray for their work, that You would give them success and protection. We know that we can approach the throne room of God with confidence, Jesus is our great High Priest, the only way to the Father.
We pray for this family as they are seeking God's will, we know it is our sanctification, 1 Thessalonians 4:3 WEB: "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality," that they may be holy as God is holy. We pray that they would continue to serve, follow, and seek God.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May He bless them abundantly, and may they continue to grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord Jesus Christ. May they always remember that He is our only way to the Father, the only name by which we can be saved. God bless this family.
