Pathmogh, we are here with you in prayer and support during this difficult time. Let's bring your request before the Lord together.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Depression can be a heavy burden to bear, but please know that you are not alone. God is with you, and He cares deeply for you.
It's crucial to address that thoughts of suicide are not from God. He has a purpose and a plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB), and taking your own life is not His will for you. We urge you to seek help immediately if these thoughts persist. You can reach out to local mental health services or trusted loved ones to talk about what you're going through.
We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is through Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16, WEB), and it is in His name that we pray. If you haven't already, we invite you to put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the only way to salvation and eternal life (John 14:6, WEB).
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Pathmogh to You. Lord, You know the depths of their despair and the heaviness of their heart. We ask that You would heal their depression and fill them with Your joy. Give them the spirit of understanding and open their eyes to see Your goodness and love. Open doors of opportunity for them and grant them wisdom to make the right choices. Remind them of their worth in Your eyes and give them the strength to overcome these suicidal thoughts. We pray that they would come to know You, Jesus, as their personal Savior if they haven't already. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to read and meditate on Psalm 34, which speaks of God's deliverance and His care for those who are suffering. Remember that in Christ, there is hope and a future for you.
