We understand your pain and heartache, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's comfort and guidance in your life. Let us lift your burdens together and bring them before the Lord.
First, we want to commend you for your unwavering faith in Jesus Christ and for coming before the living Lord in prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written: "In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Regarding the pain caused by your family, remember that Jesus Himself was betrayed and hurt by those close to Him. Even the prophet David experienced such betrayal, saying, "For it is not an enemy who insults me. I could bear that. It is not a foe who rises up against me. I could hide from him. But it is you, a man who is my peer, my companion and good friend" (Psalm 55:12-13, WEB).
God calls us to love and forgive, even when it's difficult. You're on the right path by choosing to forgive your family members, including your two aunts. As it is written, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you donβt forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15, WEB).
However, forgiveness does not mean you must subject yourself to continued mistreatment. It is wise to set boundaries and protect your heart while continuing to show love. Remember, "Be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16, WEB).
Let us pray for you:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our dear sister who is hurting. We thank You for being her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You heal her broken heart and bind up her wounds (Psalm 147:3). Give her the strength to forgive, just as You have forgiven her.*
*Lord, we ask that You bring peace to her family and soften the hearts of those who have caused her pain. Help her to establish healthy boundaries and guide her steps according to Your will (Psalm 37:23). Let her find comfort in Your love and the fellowship of believers who will support and encourage her (1 Thessalonians 5:11).*
*In Jesus' name, we pray for her restoration, that she may once again find her identity in Christ and live in the fullness of His love. Let her light shine before others, that they may see her good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).*
*Amen.*
Stay strong in your faith, and remember that God loves you more than anyone else ever could. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time. As promised in His word, "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB).
