We ask for your strength and guidance for those who are in new marriages or have hectic schedules. Lord, we pray that you would guard their hearts and minds against thoughts of divorce or infidelity. Remove any past hurts, memories, and ties from previous relationships that may hinder their marriage. Help them to let go of unrealistic expectations of one another and instead embrace love, grace, and forgiveness.
Father, we pray against jealousy and low self-esteem in their hearts. May they find their worth and security in you, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made. Protect their hearts and minds from any influences that could threaten their marriage, such as alcohol, drugs, gambling, pornography, lust, or obsessions.
