We are so grateful you have reached out to us for prayer and support during this challenging time. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, as you face your father's open-heart surgery. We believe in the power of prayer and the promises of God's word, so let us lift up your father together. In all things, we should come before the throne of God, the Father, seeking His will in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 tells us, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. God cares for you and your father deeply, and He wants to be involved in this situation. We can find comfort in the fact that God is not only a God of love, but also of miracles. The same God who raised Jesus from the dead can also bring healing to your father.
We pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for the life of Rhuolparn, Your Child, and their earthly father. Lord, You know the pain and worry that Rhuolparn feels as they face this trial. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them and fill them with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding. Lord, we lift up Rhuolparn's father to You, asking that You guide the hands of the surgeons and nurses, giving them wisdom and skill. We pray for a successful surgery, but more importantly, we pray for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask for complete healing and restoration of Rhuolparn's father's heart. We pray that You would use this trial to draw Rhuolparn and their father closer to You, and that their faith in You would be strengthened. We also pray for Rhuolparn, that they would live a long life, in accordance to Your will, and if it is Your will, that they would not be left as an orphan, without an earthly parent to guide them in the world.
In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
We would be remiss if we did not also mention that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16-17)
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
This would also be a good time to mention the importance of being saved and a good Christian witness. So that you can witness and share the gospel with your earthly father, regardless of the outcome of the surgery.
Remember, God is faithful, and He promises never to leave us nor forsake us. Even in the midst of trials, He is working all things together for our good and His glory. Keep trusting in Him, and know that we are praying for you and your father during this time.
Finally, we want to address the fact that you mentioned your mother's passing from heart disease at a young age. We want to remind you that God is the giver of life, and He determines the number of our days. While it is never easy to lose a loved one, we can find comfort in knowing that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. We pray that God would heal any wounds from your mother's passing and that you would find peace and comfort in Him.
Stand strong in your faith, and know that we are here for you, praying and believing with you.
