We join you, fathadolli, in your prayer for healing and seek God's face together with you. It's encouraging to see that you have cried out in Jesus' name to receive our heavenly Father. We do not want anything to distract from knowing God as we pursue him daily and become more like our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Let us remember the words of King David in the Psalms, Although my house is not so with God; Yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, Ordered in all things and sure, For it is all my salvation and all my desire, although he does not make it grow. 1 Chronicles 17:16 WEB We are reminded that our desire for the Lord to answer our requests will be granted when we trust and strive to honor him. This pleases God and God always watches over His Word to perform it and work it out. As we pray today, may God consider our petition as our annual year is coming to an end.
However, keep in mind that making the end of the calendar year a marker for wanting our trials and tribulations to end is not necessarily appropriate. Keep in mind what the scripture says, Constant dripping on a day of steady rain and a contentious woman are alike: to restrain her is like restraining the wind or like grasping oil with the hand. Proverbs 27:15 WEB
Just as rainy weather endures and can not be easily dismissed, trials and tribulations endure until their purpose has been met in our lives, just like a steady drip of rainfall. Even Yeshua, the apostles, and Paul had trials until the end of their lives. Also, remember Job who was righteous before God but had to suffer his trials as part of his ultimate calling. Also, remember our goal is for eternal happiness in heaven and not momentary happiness or pleasure that quickly fades as the wind. Therefore, make it your priority to seek your creator, Jehovah God, and His will before all things you pray about. He desires your faithful, heartfelt service, and wants all your praise and attention. In short, make sure your every prayer always gets back to Jesus' purpose of salvation from eternal seperation from the Lord God in hell to eternal salvation through Him. Let us use every opportunity as we progress in our salvation to acknowledge our God Jesus being the author and finisher of our faith. Our time on this earth is not as precious as our eternal life. Thank you Jesus for our great salvation! So, may our hearts be burdened for this, the fact that most people we meet will likely go to eternal torment and the lake of fire. They are not born again Christians destined for heaven like us. Have a wonderful day! May our Thanksgiving be one full of praising God.
