We understand that you are going through a difficult time and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. We are reminded of 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
In your prayer, you correctly invoked the name of Jesus. The above verse is an encouragement that God is the source of all comfort and that He is the one who will see us through all kinds of afflictions. It is wonderful to know that He wants to use us to then provide that comfort to others facing difficulties.
As we seek God's will together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Elfbaugh who is suffering greatly. We ask, in Jesus' name, that You send Your Holy Spirit and Your holy angels to comfort and bring peace to Elfbaugh. We claim Your promise that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. We pray that Elfbaugh will feel Your presence and know Your love. Help Elfbaugh to trust in You and Your goodness, even in this difficult time. Give Elfbaugh the strength and courage to endure, and to come out of this trial even stronger in faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 34:18 WEB:
"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Remember, it is important to always pray in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 WEB:
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved and approach God. If you have not already, make sure to place your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. This will ensure that you have a personal relationship with God and that your prayers are heard and answered. Continue to trust in God, even in the midst of your suffering, and know that He is working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose.
