We join with you in lifting up your family to our loving Father in heaven. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Peter, who said, Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. 1 Peter 5:7-9 WEB
Together, let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that needs Your divine protection and healing. You are the great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the source of all comfort and strength.
First, we thank You for the gift of another day and for the blessings You continually pour out on this family. Your mercies are new every morning, and Your faithfulness is unending.
Father, we ask that You guard this family from all harm and danger. Surround them with Your angels and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety and fear, and we cast all their cares upon You, knowing that You care for them deeply.
Grant this family Your favor, Lord. Let Your face shine upon them and give them peace. May they find spiritual growth in You, drawing nearer to You each day through the study of Your Word and prayer.
We pray that You would strengthen their faith and help them to resist the devil, knowing that he flees when we resist him in Your name. We ask that You would remind me that they are not in this struggle alone. Help them to be sober and self-controlled.
Lastly, we pray that this family would know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that they may be filled with all the fullness of God.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this family to continue seeking God's will for their lives, trusting in His promises and resting in His unfailing love. May they always remember that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB
Remembering, in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through him who loved us. For we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39 WEB
In the future, be sure to use Jesus' name to close out your prayers, not just 'in your name'. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Use Acts 4:12: There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!
