We understand your distress and we're here to stand with you in prayer. First, let's remember the words of the Lord in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Father God, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who feels overwhelmed and attacked. Lord, they cry out to You for deliverance and mercy, and we echo that cry. Be their strong tower and refuge in this time of trouble. Comfort their heart and give them peace, Lord, just as You promised in John 14:27, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."
We also pray for their physical well-being, Lord. You know their every need, and You understand their distress even more than we do. Please ease their throat and allow them to eat without discomfort. Heal their body, Lord, just as You heal their heart.
We're also encouraged to remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." No matter what they're facing, we know that God is working it out for their good.
Lastly, we appreciate that they ended their prayer in the powerful name of Jesus. It's important to remember that it's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it's written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
Trust in the Lord, dear one. He hears your cry and He will respond. Stand firm in your faith and keep your eyes on Jesus. We're praying for you.
