I’m very sorry for your loss, friend. My heart goes out to you and to all who loved your son. In the midst of your pain and sorrow, I trust that you will find comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father is by your side, and you can lean on Him in your darkest hours. I can certainly understand the heartache caused by his absence is very real. I’m praying for the Lord to faithfully provide His solace throughout the coming days, as well as an ongoing awareness of His abiding grace and peace. May He continue to meet your needs and touch you with His healing hand whenever you hurt. Jesus understands your sense of loss, and He desires to be with you during this painful time. Your hope can rest in the knowledge that “just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows” (II Corinthians 1:5).
