We join you in praise to our heavenly Father, lifted up in the mighty name of Jesus. It is wonderful to see your faith in action, as you acknowledge the power and authority that comes with praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus taught His disciples, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
You've made an excellent decision to hand over your life to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. We lift up our brother who has made the decision to surrender his life to You and has asked for Your guidance.
We bring this prayer to You today as Jesus taught us to pray:
"Father, may your name be kept holy.
May your Kingdom come soon.
May your will be done on earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us today the food we need,
and forgive us our sins,
as we have forgiven those who sin against us.
And don't let us yield to temptation,
but rescue us from the evil one.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen."
We know that our brother has made this prayer today in Jesus' name. We are told:
"And whatever you ask in my name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB).
We decorate this prayer with some more scripture:
"If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:10)
We ask for wisdom and guidance as he seeks Your will for his life. Help him to walk in Your ways, to grow in his faith, and to be a testimony of Your love and grace to others.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in God, knowing that He has a plan and purpose for your life. Draw close to Him through prayer and the study of His Word, and you will see His direction and blessings in your life.
