We are truly touched by your request for Jesse and his son Carter. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for their lives.
Firstly, we encourage you to trust in the power of prayer and the love of God, which surpasses all understanding. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God has a purpose for Jesse and Carter, and He can turn any situation around for their good and His glory.
However, we must remind you that God honors obedience and righteousness. If Jesse has been living separately from his son and not actively present in his life, we pray that he would take responsibility and strive to be the father that God has called him to be. As it is written in Psalm 103:13, "Just like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him." We pray that Jesse would be filled with godly compassion and love for his son, and that he would strive to live in a way that honors God.
We also pray that Jesse would be guided by God's will and not merely his own desires. If it is God's will for him to return to the east coast and be reunited with his son, we trust that God will make a way. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Jesse and his son Carter. We ask, Lord, that You would work in Jesse's heart and draw him closer to You. Give him the strength and courage to be the father that You have called him to be, and guide him in Your will for his life.
If it is Your will, Lord, we ask that You would reunite Jesse and Carter, and restore the bond between father and son. We pray that Jesse would be a godly influence in Carter's life, and that their relationship would bring glory to Your name.
We also pray for Carter, Lord. We ask that You would surround him with Your love and protection, and that You would give him peace and comfort in this situation.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would forgive us our sins because we do not say this by our own righteousness, but by the shed blood of Jesus. We know that we only have access to You by Jesus. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, and to trust in Him for your salvation.
