Father above in heaven I give glory ...
Father above in heaven, we come before you with grateful hearts, giving glory to this day that you have blessed us with. We thank you for your love and faithfulness that never ceases. We pray that you would guide us and lead us in all that we do today, that your name may be glorified through our words and actions.
As we seek to honor you, we ask for your wisdom and discernment in every decision we make. Help us to walk in obedience to your will, surrendering our own desires and plans to follow your perfect plan for our lives. May our thoughts, words, and deeds reflect your love and grace to those around us.
In the name of Jesus, we pray that you would fill us with your Holy Spirit, empowering us to live as children of God. May we approach you with the confidence and simplicity of a child, knowing that you are our loving Father who hears and answers our prayers. Help us to trust in your promises and to rely on your strength in every situation.
We also lift up our friend Iamateus to you, Lord. You know the desires of their heart and the challenges they may be facing. We ask that you would pour out your blessings upon them and grant them the peace and joy that comes from knowing you. Guide them in their decisions and provide for their needs according to your riches in glory.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who taught us to pray, saying, "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one." Amen.
