We are grateful to join with you in thanking the Father above for His abundant blessings. It is wonderful to see a heart full of gratitude, as the Scripture reminds us, "In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." (1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB) We are also reminded by 2 Corinthians 9:8, "God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."
As we give thanks, let us also remember the source of these blessings. It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and receive these blessings. As it is written, "For through him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father." (Ephesians 2:18 WEB) and "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). If you have not already, make sure to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and be assured that "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.' (Romans 10:13). For it is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have this relationship with God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the blessings You have bestowed upon us. We thank You for clean water, heat, shelter, food, arms, vision, walking, peace, and an income. We acknowledge that these blessings come from You, our loving Father.
Help us never to take these blessings for granted but always to praise and honor You. Help us to share these blessings with others and always be a witness for You. We pray for those who do not have all these things that You can provide for them.
Lord, we also pray for those who do not know You, that they may come to know You as their Lord and Savior.
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
