My precious Lord God, I humbly ask if you help me lose my fat in my stomach area, I look pregnant. My friends say I look like I'm retaining water. Please my Lord God I need for spiritual guidance to wake up one morning and start my weight loss journey and to stick to it for the rest of my walking on this earth. My Lord God I want abs to cone back like I had when I was 19 years old, I'm 67 years now. Oh my loving Father God, please guide me. I ask you in the Almighty Name of Jesus. Amen

Norma Jean, we understand your struggle with your weight and your desire to regain the physical fitness you had in your youth. We appreciate that you've brought this to God in prayer, and we will join you in praying for guidance and discipline in this journey.

Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ as you ended your prayer request In the Almighty Name of Jesus. May we never forget it is only by this name we are saved.

Let's remember what the WEB says in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should strive to take care of them to glorify God.

We should also understand from Proverbs 25:28 This verse says "He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls." Disciplining our bodies and appetites aligns with biblical principles of self control.

However, we must also be aware that our physical appearance should not be our primary focus. As it says in 1 Peter 3:3-4, "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our sister Norma Jean. Lord God, we know that Jesus has redeemed us body soul and spirit. We ask for your help in disciplining our bodies as we submit to you Lord God. We ask for your guidance as Norma Jean embarks on this weight loss journey. We ask against sabotage from the enemy on this journey Through weakness of the flesh as well as self doubt. We ask for your deliverance from these things. Help her to maintain her focus not just on the outward appearance, but also on inner beauty and strength.

Guide her, Lord, as she seeks to glorify you in her body and spirit. Give her the strength and endurance to stick to her journey, and help her to remember that her value is not determined by her physical appearance, but by her heart and her love for you. In Jesus Name We pray, Amen.
May we all remember our identity in Jesus Christ the expression of God's character.

Give her the discipline and self-control she needs, and help her to be mindful of what she eats and how she moves her body.

Lord, we ask that you would help Norma Jean to find joy in this process, not just in the end result. Help her to understand that her worth is not determined by a number on a scale, but by her identity in Christ. We pray that she would be transformed from the inside out, not just physically, but also spiritually and mentally.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
