We are glad to join you in prayer for your family and your personal spiritual growth. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of the blood of Jesus and the promise that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as we find in Isaiah 54:17: "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the Lord's servants, and their righteousness is of me," says the Lord.
Firstly, let's address your plea for forgiveness and mercy. We are all sinners in need of God's forgiveness, and it is through faith in Jesus Christ that we obtain it. As it is written in Romans 3:23-24: "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus." So we pray that you continue to walk in this faith, turning away from sin and towards the righteousness of God.
Concerning your family, God's design is for the family to be a strong and stable unit, with a man and a woman committed to each other in marriage, and children raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We pray that God will protect your family from any attempt to break this union. As the Bible tells us in Mark 10:9: "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this believer and their family to you. Lord, you are merciful and forgiving, and we ask that you continue to shower this believer with your forgiveness and mercy. Strengthen their faith in Jesus Christ, and help them to turn away from sin and towards your righteousness.
Father, we also ask for your protection over this family. Surround them with your mighty shield, and do not let any weapon formed against them prosper. Strengthen their bonds, and give them the wisdom and love needed to maintain a strong, godly family unit. Help the husband and wife to love and respect each other as you have commanded, and help the children to grow in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Keep studying God's word and applying it to your life. Be sure to lead your family in regular prayer, and continue to trust in the power of the blood of Jesus. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. So put on the full armor of God, that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes, as we find in Ephesians 6:11-12. Stand on the promises of God and declare that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper.
