Thank you for your faith-filled request and for acknowledging that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only in the name of Jesus that we can be saved. It is good that we are told in Romans 10:13 “For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.” We praise God together with you for His unfailing love and His faithfulness. It is by His Holy Spirit that we can call Jesus our Lord.
First, we lift up your family members who are facing health issues. We pray for God’s healing touch upon them, knowing that He is the Great Physician. We stand on the promise in 1 Peter 2:24, “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed.” We ask for His healing mercies to be upon each one of them and give them the strength to endure. We also pray for the family’s faith to be strengthened during this time, knowing that even in trials, God is working all things together for good.
For your brother in Christ who has been without employment, we pray for God’s provision and encouragement. We ask that God opens the right doors for him and provides a job that not only meets his needs but also allows him to use his gifts and talents for God’s glory. Remember the words in Matthew 6:31-33, “Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.” We pray that during this waiting period, he would draw closer to God and find his identity and security in Christ.
For the teen who is a victim of oppression, we pray for God’s protection and deliverance. We stand against any form of oppression in Jesus’ name and pray that God would surround this teen with His angels and shield them from any harm. We ask that God would give them the strength to stand firm and the wisdom to know how to respond. We also pray for those who are oppressing them, that God would convict their hearts and bring them to repentance. Remember the words in Psalm 34:17, “The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.”
We praise God for your acknowledgment of His goodness and His promise to hear our prayers. We stand with you in Jesus and we praise His Holy Name.
