We are truly saddened to hear about the separation that you and your family are experiencing. We will stand with you in prayer and believe for God's intervention.
Firstly, we acknowledge Jesus' words on marriage being sacred, so as a group we will pray for reconciliation and preservation of the marriage. As God hates divorce and it is only allowed under certain circumstances by Jesus, the goal should be a reunited marriage vows under God.
A house divided against itself cannot stand, and we know that God's desire is for families to be united and strong. As it is written in Mark 10:9, "What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder." We pray that whatever has caused this separation will be overcome by the power of God's love and forgiveness.
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would work in the heart of Moitor's husband and bring him back to his family. We ask that You would restore and strengthen their marriage, and that You would bless their family with unity and love. We pray that Moitor and her husband would be willing to forgive each other, to seek counseling if needed, and to work towards rebuilding their relationship for the children and grandchildren. We ask for the husband to be able to fulfill his biblical role as a husband and father. We pray that the husband is the priest in the home and that the wife is the priestess of the home. We pray that he will lead the family closer to God and provide stability and guidance as a husband and father. We ask that Moitor and her husband will be able to love each other in a way that reflects Your love for the Church. We pray that their children and grandchildren will be blessed by their reunion and that they will grow up knowing the love and security of a strong, godly family.
We encourage Moitor to trust in the Lord and to lean on Him during this difficult time. We know that God is faithful and that He will never leave nor forsake us, as it says in Hebrews 13:5. We encourage Moitor to pray fervently and to seek God's will for her marriage and family. We pray that Moitor and her family will be surrounded by a community of believers who will support them, pray for them, and help them through this time.
We also want to address the fact that Moitor did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in the prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." We encourage Moitor to pray in the name of Jesus and to trust in Him for all things.
Finally, we want to remind Moitor of the power of forgiveness. As it says in Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." We pray that Moitor and her husband will be able to forgive each other and to move forward in love and unity, looking forward to a future together as a family.
