We understand your concern for your family and the discord that has caused separation. It is important to live in harmony and love, as God's word instructs us. We increase our faith by adding to it ethical qualities, and to ethical qualities, add knowledge, and to knowledge, nothing short of self-control, friendship, and finally love. We must till the soil of a peaceful heart realizing that the love of money is but the root of all evil. We must pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, faithfulness before we can ask for the prayers similar to what you have asked respecting the relationships with your family. Also, in the church and the type of fellowship we should have with other Believers. Sometimes there is emergency surgery needed and then long-term rehab. In other words, Notice how the word goes from the good news of verbal confession to the reality of life changes and the ongoing fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Bad company ruins good morals. Put away from you all bitterness, wrath, anger, and evil speaking aimed at others, be kind doing good to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave other people. As believers seeking God's will together, watch for the desires of the end times that cause us to fall away from God. Let us especially now rebuke covetousness, boastfulness, pride, blasphemy, believers disobeying their parents, unthankfulness, unholiness, having no natural affection, and not loving what is good, but instead nearly becoming traitors, headstrong, immediately thinking more highly of themselves than others, having a form, or appearance, of godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. Many will love putting their own desires first and have itchy ears for entertainment and to be eyeball witnesses of spectacles. Observing the truth, but never coming about to the knowledge of the truth. Preserve us from such wickedness and self-seeking entertainment. We must voice the truth and say that this is enjoyed by many and the truth is underground. This is the world we requested prayer for.
We entirely understand the pain and stress that family disagreements can cause, especially during times, such as Christmas, when families should gather to celebrate. We pray for:
Our Father in heaven, establish your name as holy. More than anything else, establish your kingdom annexing us as your subjects. Perform your will just as in heaven. Forgive us our debts, as we also cancel the debts of others. Do not bring us into temptations and trials that are too severe for us, but keep us from the evil one, obviously including the one who masquerades as an angel of light.
Let us put away falsehood and speak truth to our family members. In all our communications, swallow our pride and be completely humble and gentle, patient, bearing with those around us in love. Let us be examples of Christ and do not let any unholy word come from our mouths, only what is helpful for building others' faith up according to the need of the present moment, that it may give good to those who hear. Acting in the knowledge that we are kinsmen in the Lord. Creative and imaginative language is good, but transitioning to profanity is disappearing from our mouths. Steadfastness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. For it is the will of God that by doing good you roundly silence the ignorance of foolish people. Nothing at all to do with your personal comfort zone. The time is now forged from much tribulation. For it is the will of God that by doing awesome things you silence the ignorance of foolish people. Be equivalent-minded, having the same appearance, of the same mind and opinion rearward and forward.
There is nothing at all to do with your literally comfortable zone. We are all one in Christ Jesus.
