We understand your concerns for your family, Hgd, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your husband and father.
Let's pray together: "Father in heaven, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up Hgd's husband. Lord, we ask that you help him find his inner strength and peace. May he be motivated once again to work diligently and with passion, as we are reminded in Colossians 3:23, 'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men.' We pray that you would restore his confidence, Lord, and help him to see his worth through your eyes.
We also bring before you Hgd's father. Lord, we pray for his health and well-being. We ask that you be with him, and that you would provide comfort and healing as needed. We also lift up the sale of his house, asking that it would sell quickly and at a fair price, so that he may move in with Hgd's family before winter.
In all these things, Lord, we ask that your will be done, and that Hgd and her family would trust in you, casting all their anxieties on you, because you care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Hgd, continue to trust in the Lord, and remember that he has good plans for you and your family. Keep encouraging your husband, loving him as God loves the church (Ephesians 5:22-33), and remind him of the promises of God. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).
Be patient in your trials, and persistent in your prayers. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
