Kensem, we hear the longing in your heart for marriage and a family, and we want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Psalm 37:4 in the World English Bible (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in WEB, and he shall give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in the Lord, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them in His perfect timing.
However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing and not rush into marriage out of a feeling of loneliness. It's crucial to wait on the Lord and seek His will for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in WEB with all your heart, and donβt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
As you wait, we encourage you to use this time to grow in your relationship with the Lord and become the person He has called you to be. Prepare your heart and your life for the spouse that God has for you. Remember, 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) tells us, "Donβt be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity?" As you seek a spouse, look for someone who shares your faith and love for the Lord.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Kensem. Lord, we ask that You comfort them in their feelings of loneliness and remind them of Your ever-present love. Help them to trust in Your timing and wait on Your will for their life. Prepare their heart and guide their steps as they seek a godly spouse. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
Lastly, Kensem, we want to remind you that prayer is powerful, but it's also important to seek God's will in all areas of your life, including your relationship status. Trust that God has a perfect plan for you, and He will reveal it in His perfect timing.
