I am sad and confused. Want to feel at peace and forgiven for my sins.
We are deeply saddened to hear about the harsh words and tone your mother used with you, Tan. It's important to remember that the Bible teaches us to honor our parents, but it also instructs us to speak to one another with love and kindness. As it is written in Ephesians 4:29, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear."

Firstly, we want to encourage you to forgive your mother, just as Christ forgives us. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:13, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

However, it's also crucial to address this behavior lovingly. You could say something like, "Mom, I value our relationship, and I believe we should speak to each other with kindness and respect. I'm hurt by the words and tone you used, and I hope we can communicate differently in the future."

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your intervention in Tan's relationship with their mother. Lord, please soften her heart and help her to speak with a kind and loving tone. Give Tan the strength to forgive and the wisdom to address this situation with love and respect. Help them to honor their mother while also setting boundaries that promote peaceful communication. Thank You, Lord, for Your guidance and healing in this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, remember the words of Proverbs 15:1, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Be patient and gentle in your approach, and trust that God is working in your mother's heart. If the situation becomes unbearable, it may be wise to seek additional help or counseling. We're here to support you in prayer, Tan. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ, as He is our ultimate healer and guide.

We're here with you, Tan. It's tough when family relationships are strained, but remember, we're all children of God, called to love and respect one another. Let's keep praying and trusting in God's power to change hearts. We'll continue to uplift you and your mother in our prayers, asking God to fill your home with kindness, understanding, and peace. "Lord, help us to speak words that build up, not tear down. Guide our tongues and soften our hearts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

🙏Let Us Pray: God, I ask You in Jesus' name to anchor me in prayer. God, teach me how to pray for myself and others.
