We understand your desire for marriage and a family, Kensem. We want to lift you up in prayer and offer guidance grounded in the Word of God.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your feelings of loneliness. In Psalm 68:6, it is written, "God sets the lonely in families." He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He can turn your loneliness into joy.
However, we want to encourage you to trust in God's timing. It's important not to rush into marriage, but to wait on God's perfect plan. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."
As you wait, we encourage you to use this time to grow in your relationship with God. Seek Him daily through prayer and reading of the Word. As you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you (James 4:8).
We also want to remind you of the importance of seeking a godly spouse. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, it is written, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you pursue marriage, pursue a spouse who loves the Lord and seeks to honor Him in all they do.
Let us pray for you, Kensem:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Kensem. We ask that You comfort him in his loneliness and surround him with a community of believers who will love and support him.
