Rejoice in Acinic's praise! "Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines...yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior" (Hab 3:17-18). Trust His deliverance. "Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you" (Ps 50:15). United in prayer!
Kensem, we hear the longing in your heart for marriage and a family, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God has a perfect plan for your life. Psalm 37:4 in the World English Bible (WEB) tells us, "Delight yourself also in WEB, and he shall give you the desires of your heart." As you delight in the Lord, He will place the right desires in your heart and fulfill them in His perfect timing.
However, we want to encourage you to seek a spouse in a way that honors God. 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB) tells us, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you seek a spouse, make sure that they are a fellow believer in Jesus Christ, as this unity in faith is crucial for a strong and godly marriage.
We also want to address the loneliness you're feeling. Psalm 147:3 (WEB) tells us that God "heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." Jesus is always with you, and He understands your feelings of loneliness. Use this time to draw closer to Him and to grow in your faith.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Kensem to you, Lord. We ask that You comfort him in his feelings of loneliness and that You would guide him to the spouse that You have prepared for him. Help him to delight in You, Lord, and to seek a godly spouse that is equally yoked in faith. We ask that You would prepare both Kensem and his future spouse for a God-honoring marriage that will be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, Kensem, we want to encourage you to keep your faith and hope in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. John 14:6 (WEB) tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Keep your faith firmly rooted in Him, and trust that He has a good and perfect plan for your life.
