Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today on behalf of ###, who is facing a heavy burden and deep sorrow following the passing of a beloved mother. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You surround ### with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Lord, we lift up ###'s family situation to You. We ask that You bring unity and understanding among family members, that they may seek Your wisdom rather than earthly possessions. Let Your love be the guiding force in their hearts. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May ### and the family trust in Your guidance and find peace in Your presence.
We also pray for ###'s grandson, who is in need of guidance and deliverance from trouble. Lord, we ask that You light his path and lead him away from any harm or poor choices. As it is written in Psalm 32:8, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." May Your divine counsel be with the grandson, guiding him towards righteousness and reconciliation.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for being our ever-present help in times of need. We trust in Your perfect plan and timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
