We understand that you're going through a difficult time, feeling scared and hopeless, but we want to remind you that God is always with us, even in the darkest times. Let's bring your concerns to God in prayer and seek His wisdom and guidance.
Firstly, let's remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas (Psalm 46:1-2 WEB).
Regarding your [family member's name redacted] situation, we pray that God will provide for his needs, as He promises in Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We also pray for his wife, that God will guide her steps and grant her favor in her job situation. Remember that "the prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective" (James 5:16 WEB).
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister/brother in Christ and their family. Lord, You know the struggles they're facing, the fears and worries that plague their minds. We ask that You will grant them Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
Father, we pray for [family member's name redacted], that You will provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. Guide him in his job, and grant him wisdom in his finances. We also lift up his wife, Lord. Protect her from any negative job action, and guide her steps according to Your will.
God, we ask that You will rescue them, that You will be their refuge and strength in these trying times. Remind them of Your promises, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is so important to pray in Jesus' name. As it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can receive salvation and live in God's presence. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. He is the one mediator between God and man.
