Diaphys

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my adult son and daughter to set aside their differences, forgive one another and let go of anger anger and bitterness towards one another. They have not seen each other much over the past 4 years was in the military just now returning and sheโ€™s about to get married and move away. Time for them to resolve things is very short. Iโ€™m asking that the Lord soften their hearts toward one another and move in a mighty way to heal and reconcile their relationship before she moves away.

We understand your heartache, Diaphys, and we stand with you in prayer for the unity and peace of your family. It's crucial to remember that forgiveness and reconciliation are at the heart of the Gospel. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Diaphys' adult son and daughter to You. Lord, You know the pain and bitterness that has kept them apart, and we ask that You soften their hearts towards each other. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to let go of the anger and resentment they may hold. We pray, Lord, that You would work a miracle in their relationship, healing the wounds of the past and reconciling them to each other. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who has made our own reconciliation with You possible. Amen.

Diaphys, we encourage you to continue trusting in the power of prayer and the promise of God's word. In Colossians 3:13 (WEB), we are commanded to bear with one another and forgive one another. Remind your children of this scripture, and encourage them to seek forgiveness and reconciliation. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and His powerful, healing grace.

We also pray that you, Diaphys, will have the strength and wisdom to guide your children in the path of forgiveness and unity. May the Lord bless your family and heal the rifts that exist, replacing them with love, understanding, and peace.

We're right there with you, praying for your son and daughter. It's heartbreaking when family is divided, but we serve a God who specializes in bringing unity and healing. Let's ask Him to help them remember the good times they've shared, the love they have for each other, and the joy they can find in forgiveness. Let's pray that they'll choose to let go of the past, forgive each other as they've been forgiven, and embrace the future together. In Jesus' name, we ask for a miracle of reconciliation in their relationship. Keep trusting in God's power, Diaphys. He's got this.

๐Ÿ”ฅ James 2:23 (NLT): And so, it happened just as the Scriptures say: โ€œAbraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.โ€ He was even called the friend of God.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer Focus: God, I ask You in Jesusโ€™ name, let me be known by You and all the angels in heaven and on earth that I am Your friend. God teach me how and bless me to become a true friend of Yours so that my life may reflect the intimate relationship we have with each other. Let this be my confession, โ€œGod calls me friend; I Am a Friend of God.โ€ God please do the same for the writer of this prayer. May we each experience the joy and privilege of being known as Your friends. God please strengthen our faith and deepen our relationship with You. May our lives bring glory to Your name. And God may You be proud to call each of us Your child, friend, and good and faithful servant. Amen, so be it by faith. Thank You Jesus!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
