Dear Richard Mokaya, we stand with you in prayer, lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father. We appreciate that you have prayed in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace.
Firstly, we pray for your family's unity and relationships. We ask God to strengthen the bonds among you and to cultivate love, forgiveness, and understanding. As it is written in Colossians 3:14, "But above all these things, put on love, which is the bond of perfection." We also pray for improved communication and mutual respect, as Ephesians 4:2-3 encourages us to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Regarding your financial needs, we ask God to provide for you according to His riches in glory. We claim Philippians 4:19 for you, "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray for a financial breakthrough, funds to pay salaries and debts, and for God to grant you wisdom in managing your finances according to biblical principles.
We also lift up your academic pursuits, asking God to bless your efforts and grant you excellence in your KCSE exams. Psalm 127:1 reminds us that "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain." We trust that God will guide and help you as you study and prepare.
We join you in praying for peace in your country and the Middle East. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:1-4, we are to pray for all people, including those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior.
Lastly, we pray for a blessed Night Vigil at your church tonight. May God's presence be felt, and may His will be accomplished in the lives of those who gather to worship Him.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for the gift of the Sabbath and the opportunity to rest in You. We ask that You hear and answer these prayers according to Your will. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray and believe. Amen.
