We are truly sorry to hear about the turmoil your family is experiencing. We will pray with you and offer some biblical guidance and encouragement.
Firstly, it's crucial to address the spiritual warfare you're experiencing. As Ephesians 6:12 WEB says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We need to put on the whole armor of God to stand against these evil spirits.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Barasgoth and their family. We acknowledge that there is no other name by which we can be saved then in the name of Jesus. Lord, you've told us in James 4:7 WEB to 'Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you.' We stand firm with Barasgoth and their family, resisting this evil presence that is stirring up madness in their household. In the name of Jesus, we command this spirit to leave. Father, restore peace, joy, and happiness over their home. Surround them with Your heavenly protection and strengthen their faith in You.
Lord, we also lift up Barasgoth's relationship with their fiance. We know that You desire godly marriages that reflect Your love for the church. Guide them in their courtship, and if it is Your will, lead them to a godly marriage. Help them to 'Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.' as told in (Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB). Forgive them if there is any fornication in their life or relationship.
Father, lead them to be reconciled to you and to anybody they have offended or wronged in a malicious way apologizing to you and changing their ways putting faith into action. You want us to retreat from sin but then act in obedience. Faith without works is dead according to James, the brother of Jesus.
Lord, we also pray for Barasgoth's children. Guide the 20-year-old who dropped out of school and is using substances to find freedom from addiction and a renewed purpose in life. Lead the other teen who is causing trouble to a place of respect and obedience. Help Barasgoth to 'Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.' (Proverbs 22:6 WEB).
We also address that if it is sin in your own life or lack of faithful belief in Jesus that is causing death in your family. 'The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I (Jesus) have come that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.' Make sure your faith is in Jesus only and not just an intellectual assent that is not as true a faith in Jesus Christ. Also consider that there may be false teaching you are following that is not moving you to peace, and ignoring important truths of the bible. Is original sin, the doctrine of Hell and eternal punishment, the sanctity of marriage between a man and a woman, the sovereignty of God and judgment brought about by God after the conclusion of this age and death of the lost are all important subjects to understand in the scripture.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Barasgoth's family's health concerns and emotional health issues. Heal them physically and emotionally. 'Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.' Be their rock!
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."
Barasgoth, continue to 'Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.' (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Put your faith in Jesus Christ, and He will see you through these trials that you are in.
