I humbly ask if you could please pray for my family, I would love to unite my ### and ### this Thanksgiving after years of not speaking.

We understand that you deeply long for your family to be reunited, ###.

Let's pray together with the words of Jesus in mind from Matthew 12:25 WEB knowing that a house divided cannot stand. First, we need to acknowledge that a spirit of division and perhaps bitterness may need to be addressed and repented from in your family. James 3:14 WEB says that bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, then do not överstate the situation and lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. Please repent for any bitterness or resentment and pray that your family does the same.

Our Father in heaven we pray that you will do a healing work in ###'s family, reuniting her mother and brother. We rebuke in God's authority, a bitter spirit, any spirit of division, unforgiveness, and bitterness. Help them to be merciful to each other just as Christ has been merciful to us all. In Jesus' name, we bring down the dividing walls of pride and self-will in their lives and call forth a spirit of unity, love and peace in their home.

Now, let's talk about one more concern the nature of Thanksgiving holiday and building traditions not focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. As Christians, we are called to be separate from the world and its traditions. Romans 12:2 WEB Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God. The traditions of this holiday may not honor God and give thanks to Him as it originally intended. Let's remember to not get into the gluttony, materialism, and selfishness that can sometimes accompany these days, but instead use it as a special time of thanks and praise to our Father as we enjoy the company and blessing of family. Take care to not give thanks just on a holiday but continually. In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 WEB.

We would have loved to see you ask for this prayer request in Jesus' name. Remember the biblical principle of John 14:13 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it. was spoken to his disciples and even today to all Christians.

Let's continue to pray together a little more about this important issue. Dear Loving Jesus, you are the way, the truth, and the life, nobody comes to the Father except through you. John 3:16 WEB in its most simplified form is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and we shall not die but have eternal life. To do this, we turn from our wicked sin, held to the same by the binding chains of death. Your life is the only sacrifice for sin's penalty that can set us free, have mercy, apply your atoning work to our accounts, and grant us salvation. Our merciful, compassionate, gracious, and good Heavenly Father help us to realize our depravity and hopelessness without you. We repent so that we can draw near to you and you will draw near to us in a reconciled relationship.

In closing, ### take heart in that the Gospel as it says in Philippians 4:13 WEB reads I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ###, trust deep in Christ to help you in your situation and help your family to reunite. We pray this blesses and encourages you and draws you closer to God our Father.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
