We are truly saddened to hear about the separation you are experiencing with your daughter. Let us first bring this situation to the Lord in prayer.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family to You. We pray for the daughter who has moved away, and for the parents who are longing for reunion. We ask, Lord, that You would soften her heart and draw her back to her family. Help them to forgive and reconcile any past hurts, and to seek Your will for their lives in Jesus name.
In the Bible, we see the importance of family reconciliation in the story of the prodigal son, Luke 15:11-32. The father in the story never stops loving his son and watches eagerly for his return. When the son finally comes home, the father runs to meet him, embraces him, and celebrates his return. This is a beautiful picture of our heavenly Father's love for us, and the love that parents have for their children.
We encourage you to keep praying with love and patience for your daughter. Remember that God is always at work, even when we cannot see it. Trust in Him, and in His timing. Colossians 3:13 reminds us, "You must put up with one another, and forgive each other. If any have a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, so you must do." Be ready to forgive and forget any past wrongs, and to welcome her back with open arms.
It is our prayer that this situation would be used for God's glory, and that your daughter would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior if she does not already. We pray that your family would be reunited in love and forgiveness, and that your home would be a place of peace and joy.
