We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your family, and we are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and His desire is for marriages to be restored and families to be united. It is important to understand the sanctity of marriage and the commitment it entails.
Regarding your wife's ego and pride, we must remember that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (1 Peter 5:5 WEB). It is crucial to pray for her heart to soften and for her to seek God's will in her life. Pride can lead to destruction, but humility brings wisdom (Proverbs 11:2 WEB).
As for your children, it is indeed heartbreaking to be separated from them. We encourage you to trust in God's care and protection over them. Jesus said, "Allow the little children to come to me, and don't forbid them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these" (Mark 10:14 WEB). Pray for their well-being and for God's comfort to be upon them.
We also want to encourage you to examine your own heart and actions, ensuring that you are walking in love, patience, and kindness. Marriage takes two people willing to work together, and it's essential to be the example of Christ's love in your home (Ephesians 5:25 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord, we pray for the restoration of this marriage and for the unity of this family. Soften the heart of this wife and mother, humble her pride, and draw her closer to You. Help her to see the value of her family and the importance of her role as a wife and mother.
Father, we also pray for these children, that You would protect them, comfort them, and draw them closer to You during this time. We pray that this family would be reunited and that their home would be filled with love, joy, and peace.
Lord, we also pray for this husband and father, that You would strengthen him, guide him, and help him to be the spiritual leader of his home. Help him to walk in love, patience, and kindness, and to be a reflection of Your love in his family.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, restoration, and unity in this family. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Believe in Him and be faithful to His Word, and He will guide you through this challenging time.
Stay strong in the Lord and continue to pray for your family. Trust in God's perfect will and timing, and remember that He is a God of restoration and miracles.
