Beloved of All
Please pray for my husband and his family. He is estranged from his mother, sister and brother in-law and nephew. This is been going on for years, like a generational thing. His family is not close and there is alot of jealousy, resentments and inner child trauma. He comes from a broken home, father was an alcoholic, parents divorced. Ever since the divorce the mom lived her life through the daughter and has made her the matriarch of the family. What the sister says goes. My husband is a recovering addict, been clean for thirteen years, yet he is still looked down upon and judged for his past. Whenever there is an argument, his past is brought up and thrown in his face. His father was abusive and he never had a father role model in his life. My husband has a bad temper and has anger issues, that he has gone for counselling for and is working on his behaviour - recently there was an altercation, and when his brother in law brought up his past in a very hectic verbal confrontation, my husband punched him. He apologised, but was not forgiven and they asked for space, and now no-one is talking to each other which is perceived as normal in the family. The mother always sides with the sister and brother in law as they are rich and supports her financially. If the mother should forgive the brother, the sister will cut her off. The latter is a pattern. The nephew who is 14 years old has lymphoma cancer, we don't even know how he is doing as there is no contact whatsoever. The sister and brother in law are newborn Christians, but treats my husband as if he is beneath them and he should forever be the least. I'm not sure how this is ever going to be resolved. All I know is that we need your prayers.

Let us begin by acknowledging that the power of prayer can bring healing and restoration to even the most broken of situations. We are reminded in Matthew 18:20 (WEB), "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them." It is essential to seek God's will in this matter and pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation

Firstly, let us address the root of the issue. The estrangement in your husband's family is a result of long-held jealousy, resentment, and unforgiveness. These are strongholds that can only be broken through the power of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Your husband's family needs to understand that true forgiveness comes from God and that they should forgive as they have been forgiven. Holding onto past mistakes and bringing them up in arguments is not from God. We rebuke this behavior and pray that they come to this realization.

Regarding your husband, it is commendable that he has been clean for thirteen years and is working on his anger issues. We encourage him to continue seeking help and to remain steadfast in his walk with the Lord. We pray that he remains patient and loving, even in the face of persecution from his family. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:9 (WEB), "Not rendering evil for evil, or reviling for reviling; but instead blessing; knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing."

As for the situation with the nephew, we pray for his healing and that God would use this situation to bring the family together. We encourage you and your husband to continue praying for him and to try to reach out to the family, showing love and concern for the nephew's well-being.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your healing and restoration. We pray that You would soften their hearts and help them to see that the bitterness and unforgiveness they are holding onto is not from You. We pray that You would give them the strength to forgive, just as You have forgiven them.

Lord, we also pray for Anonymous' husband. We thank You for his journey of recovery and we pray that You would continue to give him the strength to overcome his anger issues. We pray that You would bless him and his wife with a spirit of patience and love, even in the face of persecution.

Father, we also lift up the nephew who is battling cancer. We pray for his healing and that You would use this situation to bring the family together. We pray that Anonymous and her husband would be able to reach out to the family and show them the love of Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and to trust in the Lord. As it is written in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working in this situation and that He will bring about a resolution that is for the good of all involved. Keep praying and keep believing, for with God, all things are possible. Do not be discouraged by the family's treatment, but continue to show love and forgiveness, just as Jesus does for us. In all things, we must strive to be like Christ.

We're here for you and your husband, standing in the gap with our prayers. It's heartbreaking to see families torn apart by misunderstandings, jealousy, and unforgiveness. But we serve a God who specializes in restoration and healing. In Mark 11:25 (WEB), Jesus tells us, "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your offenses."

Let's lift up your husband's family, asking God to soften their hearts and help them see the hurt they're causing. We pray that they would understand the power of forgiveness and choose to let go of past grudges, just as God has forgiven them through Christ.

For your husband, we ask God to continue giving him strength in his recovery and to help him navigate his anger issues. We pray that he would find peace and patience in every situation, even when faced with persecution from his family. As it says in Philippians 4:7 (WEB), "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let's not forget the nephew battling cancer. We intercede for his healing and ask God to use this trial to bring the family together. We pray that you and your husband can reach out to them, showing love and concern, and be a beacon of hope in the midst of this storm.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in God's plan, even when it's hard to see. He's working all things together for the good of your family, just as He promised in Romans 8:28. Stay strong, and keep loving as Jesus loves you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you have allowed us to pray with you regarding the restoration of your husband's family. We have been fervently interceding for them and will continue to do so. If you have seen any improvements or answers to our collective prayers, we would be delighted to hear about them so that we can rejoice with you and give glory to God.

If the situation remains unchanged or has worsened, please do not hesitate to share with us again. We are here to support you and stand in agreement with you in prayer. We believe that no situation is beyond God's redemptive power. Remember, we are battling against principalities and powers that foster jealousy, resentment, and trauma, but our God is mightier.

We have been praying for each family member:

* For your husband, that he continues to grow in his recovery and finds healthy ways to manage his anger.
* For his mother, that her eyes be opened to the truth and that she finds the strength to forgive and love unconditionally.
* For his sister and brother-in-law, that their hearts be softened and that they begin to treat your husband with the love and kindness that Christ modeled for us.
* For his nephew, that God's healing hand be upon him and that his health be fully restored.
* For the entire family, that generational curses be broken, and that they find unity, healing, and restoration in Christ.

We bless you and your husband as you continue to seek God's face and trust in His goodness. May you feel the comfort and encouragement of the Holy Spirit during this time. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
