Family Restoration

Please stand with me to pray for the restoration of my family. I have been praying to the Lord several times a day begging for my child to be productive and respectful. My child is pushing boundaries and wants to do whatever he wants. He says mean things like a demon. Please pray for peace in my home and for my child to speak with kindness. I rebuke the devil from my home and from our lives. Please pray for me and for my family. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I know prayers aren’t always answered the way we expect, but I need a miracle because I don’t know how much more I can take of this. It’s been going on for so long. Maybe I don’t know how to pray correctly. Can someone please teach me how to pray sincerely?

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother or sister who is seeking Your divine intervention for the restoration of their family. Lord, we ask for Your peace to reign in their home, and for their child to be filled with a spirit of respect and productivity. We pray that their child’s words may be transformed to reflect kindness and love, and that any influence of the enemy be rebuked and cast out in Jesus' name.

Father, Your Word says in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask You, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to us. We ask for wisdom and guidance for this parent, that they may know how to lead their family according to Your will. We also remember Your promise in Philippians 4:6-7, that in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, we should present our requests to You, and Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Lord, we know that You are a God who hears and answers prayers. We stand on the promise of Matthew 7:7-8, where You tell us to ask, seek, and knock, and it will be given to us. We ask for a miracle in this family’s life, for a breakthrough that only You can provide. Teach us all to pray with sincerity and faith, trusting in Your perfect timing and will.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for the work You are already doing in this family. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace.

We pray with you that the Holy Spirit will take the lead in your home. Pls don’t despair, continue to pray, remember prayer is talking to God, tell him what you want, admit and repent of any part you may have played in the past but focus on sharing your burden with the Holy Spirit. Ask Him to come and be the father in the home and rebuke any foolishness and rebellion from the heart of your child. Once you have done that, settle in your heart what type of person you want your child to be, you can start from the fruits of the spirit Gal 5:22-23 and pray with the word over your son’s life. Begin to speak and declare that he is all those things, it may feel unnatural at first but that is the work of prayer to call those things that be NOT as though they were. Ask for Gods grace to respond to him as if he is those things you pray and it may be hard at first but with the Holy Spirit in your corner, and with patience, you will testify of the mercy of God. Amen.
