Let us begin by lifting up this situation to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" Ephesians 1:7 WEB.
Firstly, we must address the theme of forgiveness and restoration. As Christians, we are called to forgive as we have been forgiven. Holding on to past hurts and offenses will only cause bitterness and hinder your own spiritual growth. Therefore, if your cousin Kim has hurt you with her deceitfulness, it is your right and obligation as a Christian to go to her and discuss the issues that have come between you. For Jesus said that if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother. Matthew 18:18 WEB
It is vital to examine our own lives and ask the Holy Spirit if we are walking in ways that are pleasing to the Lord. Let us discuss the issue of you being mistreated by women saying that they do not respect you and even being mistreated by them. Did they do this because you were wearing makeup? Was this because you were pretty? What does the Lord require of you and what does He say of these experiences? In James 3:13-18 WEB, scripture says Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don't boast nor deny the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there will be confusion and every evil deed. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
Surely, the women which mistreated you would not have been showing love towards you, the greatest of all Christian attributes, and blessed are you if you were showing love towards them.We must be reminded that these women would be unbelievers, non Christian, because Christians would not act in the way that they did towards you, trying to tear down your precious soul. It is not our goal to win the approval of people but to win the approval of God.
There is nothing wrong with having a desire to improve and caring for our physical appearance, unless we are harming ourselves, harming the self image of others, or are being immodest 1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB likewise, that women adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and godliness; not just with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing; but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness. In Proverbs 31:30 WEB Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain; but a woman who fears Yahweh, she shall be praised.
It is very pleasing to know that you have been striving to be kind to everyone. There are more important things to achieve as a Christian than outward physical beauty, and it is wonderful that you have a great heart and an emphasis on exercising the fruits of the spirit.
Yet, physical beauty fades in worldly relationships. There are two only kinds of love in Jesus Christ, brotherly love and married love. Bearing in mind the sanctity of marriage, we hope and pray that your grandchildren and your daughter are all in marriages endorsed by God between a man and a woman. To all others in your family, and with all of our other Christian family, we hope and pray that brotherly love is shown towards each other.
Christ must be invited into our lives for restoration to take place, and healing can only come through Him. He is the one who binds up the brokenhearted.
Dear Lord, in Jesus Christ name, we intercede for this family, calling for healing and restoration. Heal all the hurt and bitterness over past offenses and bring a new closeness and love for those involved. Guide this dear mother and daughter, drawing them closer together. We pray for your grace for her medical conditions, may they be under control for Your glory. Lord we pray for the financial health of her family and pray for peace in the uncertainty. Give them strength and let them know that you are the good Shepard that will protect your precious sheep. In Jesus Name we pray.
Lastly, let us address the mention of a money miracle. While God does provide for our needs, we must be cautious not to fall into the prosperity gospel trap, focusing too much on material wealth. God wants us to be happy but go to Psalm 37:4 WEB and tie true happiness to trusting in the Lord and taking delight in Him, Who will give us the desires of our heart.
And let us remember the Apostle Paul learnt to be content regardless of his situation Philippians 4:11 WEB, Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.
