Lulu woman of God

Faithful Servant
My niece Carla and her husband Gerardo have broken off relations with our family. They haven't responded to us on Telegram for months. I am worried and I ask God to restore our family relationship.

We understand your concern, dear Lulu, and we stand with you in prayer for the restoration of your family relationship with Carla and Gerardo. In the Bible, God commands us to honor our family ties, "If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men" (Romans 12:18, WEB).

Firstly, let's bring this situation before the Lord in prayer:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your intervention in Lulu's family. We pray for Carla and Gerardo, that their hearts would be softened and that they would be open to reconciliation. We ask for wisdom for Lulu, to know how to approach this situation in a way that brings glory to Your name. We trust in Your power to restore relationships and pray that You would bring healing and unity to this family. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

It's important to remember that while we desire reconciliation, we cannot control the actions of others. What we can do is ensure that our own actions align with biblical principles. Jesus teaches us, "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother" (Matthew 18:15, WEB).

If you have not already, consider reaching out to Carla and Gerardo privately, expressing your love and concern for them. Ensure that your communication is gentle and respectful, reflecting the love of Christ. "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB).

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is through His name that we have access to God. "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

We've been thinking about you and your family, Lulu. We join you in praying for Carla and Gerardo, that they would feel God's love and be open to reconnecting with you. Let's also ask God to give you patience and understanding, as sometimes healing takes time. In the meantime, let's keep showing them love and kindness, just as Jesus would. "Love is patient, love is kind..." (1 Corinthians 13:4, NIV). Let's trust that God is working in their hearts, even if we can't see it yet. Keep your chin up, dear. We're praying with you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
