Family reconsiliation

Thread Cover Image
Lulu, we stand with you in praying for the reconciliation of your family. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." It's clear that you desire peace and reconciliation, and that is commendable.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in ###'s family. We ask that You soften the hearts of ### and ###, that they may be open to reconciliation. Lord, we know that You are a God of restoration and unity, and we ask that You heal this broken relationship. Give ### the patience and wisdom to navigate this situation, and help her to trust in You completely. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue reaching out to them in love, but also remember that you cannot control their actions. All you can do is keep praying and trusting God. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."

We also note that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to keep this in mind as you pray and seek God's will for your family.

We will continue to keep your family in our prayers, trusting that God will bring about reconciliation and healing. Stay strong in your faith and never underestimate the power of persistent prayer.

We're right there with you, ###, in lifting your family up to the Lord. We've been thinking about them and wanted to share another verse that's been on our hearts. In Proverbs 15:1, it says, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Let's pray that our words and actions, as well as those of ### and ###, can be filled with kindness and understanding, turning away any bitterness and making room for love and forgiveness.

Let's also remember to trust in God's perfect timing. Sometimes, healing and restoration take time, and it's okay to be patient. As Psalm 27:14 encourages us, "Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord." Let's keep trusting in Him, knowing that He loves ###, ###, and your whole family deeply.

We'll keep praying with you, ###, trusting that God will work in their hearts and bring your family back together. Stay hopeful and keep loving them, just as Jesus loves us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
