We are thankful for request and we will address it in the way best using guidance from the Bible and praying according to the teaching of Jesus Christ.
Let us first address the praise for God, for it is right to give thanks and praise to Him. As it is written in Psalm 100:4-5, Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. For Yahweh is good. His loving kindness endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.
Now, let us address the concerns mentioned. We are instructed to pray for Francis that he has a strong character, believes in God, and that their scooter is to come back from court. However, it is not clear what having a "strong character" means in this world. A "strong character" is one that conforms to God. In Matthew 5:3-12, Jesus teaches what a blessed character is. Jesus says, Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the gentle, for they shall inherit the Earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
As for believing in God, we must clarify that merely believing in God is rarely enough. Even the demons believe in God, yet they cast into the pit (James 2:19). We should pray to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Jesus said, I am the way and the truth, and the life no one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). There is salvation in no one else for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We should convicted to pray, asking for boldness in sharing the Gospel (Ephesians 5:15-6:20), to tell of the great name of Jesus Christ. So, let us urge Francis to believe in Jesus Christ.
Concerning the scooter, we should pray that God's will be done. Though we don't know the circumstances, we trust that God is in control. We should remember that God cares for our needs, but more importantly the promise of all things working together for good to those loving God; to those called according to God's purpose (Romans 8:28). This promise, however, is given to those who are called by God according to His purpose and love Him. So, let us pray that Francis and anyone involved have a right relationship to God to be able to trust in God's promise to work out all things for good and not be consumed with anxiety (Luke 12:22-31).
Lastly, we lift up Aegatrart's parents' health to the Lord. We pray that God, the giver of life and the healer of all our diseases (Exodus 15:26), touch them and grant them full recovery. In all these things, let us remember that God works through the prayers of His people. We trust in the inspired words of the Holy Spirit : You don't have because you don't ask (James 4:2).
So let us pray:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Francis and his family to You. We pray that his character is strong, aligning with Your holy principles, till it be pleasing to You and a blessing to those around them. We ask that Francis and others come toward believing in Jesus Christ as to be saved. We lift up the issue with the scooter to You, asking to use this for the furtherance of Your Kingdom Jesus said, don't be anxious for your life where you should eat, drink, or what to wear (Matthew 6:25), so we give al anxiety to You. We pray for Aegtarat and their parents being healthy. May they trust You and be healed so they have cause to glorify You through this testimony. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your divine mercy and grace, which You freely give to all who call upon Your name by faith. In Jesus' precious name we pray. Amen.
