Let us come together in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up Shatgul and their family in prayer. We are grateful that Shatgul is praying in the powerful name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is this name that we are saved. There is power in the name of Jesus and by invoking His name, we align ourselves with His will and acknowledge His authority over every situation. As it said in Acts 4:12 in the WEB "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" and John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray and there is no magic formula, rather a system given to us by Jesus in Matthew 6:9 You pray, therefore, like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. For Shatgul's sister and the father of her child, we pray for peace and a constructive resolution to their conflicts. We ask God's will be accomplished in these circumstances. Unfortunately, there are special considerations when it comes to families, especially as parents have a responsibility to children.
We pray that both parents are being Truthful as God commands and God's will comes out quickly in Exodus 20:16 WEB You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. Additionally, we pray for God to act. God knows all secrets and will act. Luke 8:17 WEB For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light, Luke 12:2 WEB There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be made known.
We pray that God will "execute justice for the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth may terrify no more." Psalms 10:18 "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and meditate and repent, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." In Jesus' name, we ask for God's intervention and protection over Shatgul's sister and her child, as well as comfort and peace for Shatgul's mother.
We do not know the marital status of Shatgul's sister and the father of her child. That is, we do not know if they are husband and wife. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible.
No matter the situation, we can always repent and depend on God's mercy and grace. We only need to turn to him, as per commends in I John 1:9 in the WEB If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When we do not have peace with God but repent and turn to God, He can make the opposite party to be at peace with us. Proverbs 16:7 in WEB When a man's ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Let us also remember the promise in Romans 8:28 in the WEB We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God has the power to transform even the most challenging circumstances for His good.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Shatgul and their family. We thank You that Shatgul is invoking the power name of Jesus. We pray for Your protection and comfort over their sister and her child, as well as for their mother. We ask that You intervene in the situation with the father, bringing resolution to Jehovah/Yahweh and peace to all but especially the child. We pray for godly repentance, marriage, and good parenting for the situation. Guide them all through this challenging time, and help them to rest in Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We trust in the power of Your Sacrificial Lamb. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage Shatgul and their family to continue praying fervently, for the effective prayer of the community avails much. James 5:16 "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." and as God commands Esaias/Isaiah 62:6-7 6 I have set watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem. They will never be silent day nor night: You who call on Yahweh, take no rest, 7 and give him no peace, until he establishes, and until he makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
John/I John 4:10 "In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins.", As well as John/I John "4My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous." as well as John/I John 2:1 "2 and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.".
Be strengthened and remain faithful, knowing that God is always with us and will never forsake us.
