We thank you, Arllach, for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests with us. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge your faith in Jesus Christ, as you've mentioned His name and asked for His intervention. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved. As the Bible tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Let's address your requests one by one:
1. **Husband's Promotion and Health:** We pray for God's favor upon your husband's career, that he would be granted his promotion, and any obstacles would be removed. We also lift up his health to the Lord, asking for healing, strength, and vitality. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans that I have toward you, says Yahweh, plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
2. **New Home:** We ask God to provide a new home for your family at a reasonable price, a place where you can live in peace and security, and enjoy fellowship with one another and the Lord.
3. **Son-in-Law's Deliverance from Alcohol:** We pray for your son-in-law's deliverance from alcoholism, that God would break the chains of addiction and bring him to repentance. We commend you for your zeal in prayer for his sake. But be assured he has no hope of pleasing God if he remains an alcoholic without a testimony that he has been born again by the grace of God. "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God." (Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB)
4. **Daughter and Son Relationship:** We pray for harmony and understanding between your daughter and son. May they honor and respect each other as siblings in Christ. We encourage them to look to Jesus as their model to forgive and show empathy and patience as the Lord has done for each of both of them. Be ready to confess your sins to each other. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)
5. **Jobs:** We ask the Lord to provide meaningful work for those in your family who are seeking employment. May He open the right doors and give them favor in their job searches.
6. **Son Charged with Felony:** We pray for truth and justice to prevail in your son's legal situation. We rebuke the lies and untrue statements made against him. If he is guilty of the felony committed even if they are untrue, encourage your son to confess his sin to himself, you, God, his victim and all that are involved and that is impacted. A penalty from the State is likely in order and we pray for God's mercy during the sentencing phase. God will not be mocked by someone who wants forgiveness but is not willing to bear the consequences of their actions. God will not forgive them neither should we. We pray for comfort and peace to your grandson if they are not declared guilty of the felony. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin." (1 John 1:7 WEB) and, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective." (James 5:16 WEB).
7. **Grandson's Situation:** We come against the enemy's attacks on your grandson and pray for Jesus' intervention. May the charges be downgraded to a misdemeanor if they are indeed untrue. We pray that your grandson also, would come to Jesus and experience true freedom and salvation by the grace of God.
8. **Family's Salvation:** We echo your plea for each member of your family to come to Jesus, to know Him personally, and to live in a right relationship with Him.
Heavenly Father, we lift up Arllach's family to You, asking for Your blessings, protection, and guidance. We rebuke any bondage of lies, addiction and false truths set against this family. We pray for God's will in the lives of each family member, knowing only eternity will determine someone can be saved by the grace of God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
