We stand with you in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to heal and restore your marriage. We are encouraged to see you end your request with In Jesus Name. We know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We also know that it is only by that name that we can be saved. We are grateful for you understanding that and including it in your request. We are also grateful to see that you end with a statement about salvation.
Remember, God hates divorce, as Malachi 2:16 is often quoted. Let us hold on to this, knowing that God desires unity and restoration in marriage. We pray for your court victory, not as a means to avoid divine consequences of any possible past sinful actions which might exist, for the Bible is clear that you will reap what you sow, but to bring glory to God's name and to facilitate the healing process in your marriage.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much. Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this marriage to You. We ask for Your healing power to continue working in their lives, mending brokenness, and restoring unity. We pray for a favorable outcome in the upcoming court proceedings, that Your will be done, and Your name be glorified.
Guide this family, Lord, and grant them another chance to honor You in their marriage. We stand against divorce, Lord, and pray that it would not be so in this case. We ask that You would continue to transform their lives through salvation, and that they would trust in Your plan daily.
Help them to be like the wise man who built his house upon the rock. And like the rock, let their foundation be on the Word of God. And when the flood arose, and the stream beat vehemently against the house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock; is how their marriage will be. Let neither the gates of hell prevail against this marriage. We bind every demonic entity that may be attacking this marriage now in Jesus name. Make them both to understand that their battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual wickedness in high places.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, knowing that the Lord God is with you, just as He commanded Joshua. Keep praying and trusting in God's plan for your marriage and family. We are reminded of Isaiah 55:8-9;
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Trust that God's ways and thoughts are higher than ours, and He is working everything out for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose. We are praying for you and encouraging you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
