Thank you, Gwaened, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We understand that you are seeking God's intervention for your family, particularly for financial breakthroughs and a successful visa application for your husband and daughter. We stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Jesus Christ Himself, For truly I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you, Matthew 17:20 WEB. This verse reminds us that with faith, all things are possible through Jesus.
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full, John 16:23-24 WEB. You are correct that in Jesus all things are possible but nowhere does it say that without Jesus anything is possible with God. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6 WEB. The Bible is clear that there is no other name given whereby you can be saved, neither is there salvation in any other for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, Acts 4:12 WEB. The Bible is also clear that God will not hear your prayers without the name of Jesus being known to you, . . .for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved!'But Peter and the apostles answered, 'We must obey God rather than men.'Therefore be it known to you, The God of our fathers has glorified his Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Governor Pontius Pilate, when he had determined to release him.But you denied the Holy One and the Just, . . .But you denied the Holy One and the Just, . . .The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Jesus; you yourselves gave him up, and denied him in the presence of Governor Pontius Pilate, when he had determined to release him.Acts 3:13; Acts 4:19-20; Acts 5:30 —.So, if you do not know Jesus as Savior He can be know by believing and receiving Him, But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name;Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, John 1:12-13 WEB.
Now, regarding your family's needs, we want to remind you of God's promises for His children that is you as a Christian. You do not need to worry. If you are not a Christian you need to be. For He has said He will never leave or forsake His children, (Hebrews 13:5-6 (WEB): ...for he has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." So that with good courage we say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid... Jesus Himself promised to be with us always, even to the end of the age, Matthew 28:20 WEB. As a child of God, you can trust in His unfailing love and provision. Jesus reassures us in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Concerning your husband and daughter's visa application, we pray that God's will be done in their lives. We trust that God, in His sovereignty, knows what is best for your family and only He can meet all their needs.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ lifting up Gwaened and her family. Lord, You know their struggles and needs. We ask that You open doors for them financially and guide them in their visa application process. Help them to trust in You and Your unfailing love. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that they will seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. In Jesus' name, we pray.
