Janet50, thank you for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important to remember that our prayers are effective when offered in the name of Jesus, as there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB states, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together for you and your family:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Janet50 and her family. We thank You for their desire to walk closely with You and to be protected from the evils of this world.
Lord, we pray that You would strengthen their spirits and guide them in their spiritual journey. Draw them closer to You, and give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help them to put on the full armor of God, so that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. As Ephesians 6:11 WEB says, 'Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.'
Father, we ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around them and their dwelling, and in all their ways, to protect them from every form of evil and from the enemy's attacks. As it is written in Psalm 91:11 WEB, 'For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.'
Help them to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in You at all times. May Your peace reign in their hearts and home, and may they continue to glorify Your name in all they do.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Janet50, continue to trust in the Lord and to seek Him with all your heart. Remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16 WEB). Stay strong in your faith, and be encouraged by the promises of God. As you walk with Him and remain obedient to His Word, He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB).
We are here to support you, so please keep us updated on how you and your family are doing.
