Thank you, Irondance, for reaching out and sharing your prayer requests. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, bringing your supplications before the throne of grace.
Firstly, let us address your desire for a marriage overflowing with God's joy. We are reminded of Philippians 4:4, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice!" and Galatians 5:22, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." We pray that both you and your wife, Justin G.9, will be filled with the Holy Spirit, experiencing the joy that comes from a right relationship with God. May your marriage be a testament to God's love and faithfulness.
Remember to pray together, always in Jesus name as Paul reminds us in Ephesians 5:21 "Be subject to one another in the fear of Christ."
Concerning your children, we pray for their health, behavior, eating habits, and sleep, that God will guide you as parents to raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 says, "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
Regarding ministry opportunities, we pray that God will open doors for both you and your wife to serve Him. Colossians 4:3 says, "Praying at the same time for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds."
For financial blessings, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory. Remember that our labor is not in vain when it is done in the name of the Lord. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 says, "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat. For we hear from some who walk among you disorderly, that they don't work at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread."
Concerning your job, we pray that God will provide a new opportunity or promotion with a daytime schedule. Remember that God is your provider, and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Psalm 145:15-16 says, "The eyes of all look to you. You give them their food in due season. You open your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing."
Regarding the antagonism you face at work, we pray that God will protect you and remove the sources of strife. Remember that God is your defender, and He will fight your battles. Exodus 14:14 says, "Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Irondance and their family. We pray for their marriage, that it will be filled with Your joy and love. We pray for their children, that they will grow in health and in the knowledge of You. We pray for ministry opportunities, that You will open doors for Irondance and their wife to serve You. We pray for financial blessings, that You will provide for their needs and that their income will always be larger than their expenses. We pray for a new job or promotion for Irondance, with a daytime schedule, and that You will remove the antagonism they face at work. We ask people to pray with us. In all things in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
