Mother is lying and cruel to me

We are deeply saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your mother. It's important to remember that God's word calls us to honor our parents, but it also gives us guidance on how to handle difficult relationships. In Ephesians 6:2-3, it is written, "Honor your father and mother,' which is the first commandment with a promise: 'that it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.'" However, this does not mean we should endure abuse or cruelty.

In your situation, it's crucial to set boundaries to protect your emotional well-being while still showing respect. Colossians 3:12-13 reminds us, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Dear Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with the relationship with their mother. Lord, we ask for Your divine wisdom to guide them in setting appropriate boundaries while honoring their mother. Give them the strength to endure this trial and the grace to forgive as Christ forgave us. Protect their emotional well-being and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, you are not alone in this struggle. God is with you, and He will give you the strength to face this challenge. Keep trusting in Him and seek His will in all things. If possible, consider seeking godly counsel from a pastor or a trusted Christian mentor to help you navigate this situation.

Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of prayer in Jesus' name. It is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Keep trusting in Him and know that He hears your prayers.
