We are grieved to hear about the spiritual crisis Daniel is facing and the distress it is causing his family. Let us together seek God's will for Daniel and his family, trusting in the power of prayer and the truth of God's Word.
Firstly, let us address Daniel's feeling of being done with God. It is important to remember that our feelings can deceive us, but God's Word stands firm. In Psalm 55:22 WEB, it is written, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." Even when we feel like giving up, God is faithful and will sustain us.
Let us also address the thought that God doesn't help him. In Isaiah 41:10 WEB, God says, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Even when we don't see it, God is always at work in our lives.
Let us pray for Daniel and his family:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Daniel and his family. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen Daniel's faith, that he would know beyond any doubt that You are real and that You love him deeply. Help him to see that You are at work in his life, even in the midst of his trials. Give him the power to resist the lies of the enemy and stand firm on Your truth. Comfort and encourage his mother, give her the wisdom and patience she needs to support Daniel in this time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage Daniel and his family to cling to the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God has a purpose and a plan, even in this difficult time.
Let us also remember the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
