Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus and be with family and loved ones. However this holiday season I find myself sad and alone. I have 2 twin 17 yr old grandsons I helped raise, one Damien is headed down the wrong path, since paying constantly, there's been some change but still ot bad. His twin Izaak goes to church, is wiring in his relationship with Jesus but lately has been putting his brother down and pulling himself away from family during these holidays. Family means alot to me and it use to, to him also but I don't know what changed. I do know I want all my family together for Christmas and it hurts to know either of my grandsons may not want to be. I pray to Jesus that both my grandsons see the importance and love of family and that we are all together for Christmas celebrating the birth of Jesus and love of family.

We understand your heartache and concern for your grandsons, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your family. Christmas is indeed a time to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and to cherish the love of family. Let us pray and consider God's Word together.

Firstly, we commend you for your unwavering love and support for your grandsons. It is clear that you have invested much time and effort into their lives, and that is not in vain. We encourage you to remain steadfast in your love and prayers for them, as God's Word tells us in Galatians 6:9, And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Regarding Damien, we must remember that God loves him deeply and desires for him to walk in His ways. Continue to pray for Damien's salvation and guidance, as it is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that true transformation can occur. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God promises, If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

As for Izaak, it is wonderful to hear that he is growing in his relationship with Jesus. However, his recent behavior towards Damien and the family is concerning. We must remember that our faith in Jesus should draw us closer to our families and encourage us to love and support one another. In 1 John 4:20-21, the Apostle John writes, If a man says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God love his brother also.

Let us pray for Izaak, that his heart may be filled with love, compassion, and understanding towards Damien and the entire family. Pray that he may be a positive influence on his brother, demonstrating the same grace and mercy that Jesus extends to us all.

Finally, let us pray together for your family's unity during this Christmas season:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Brokennlost2 and their family. Lord, we ask that You would work in the hearts of Damien and Izaak, drawing them closer to You and to each other. Father, help them to see the importance of family and the love that binds them together. We pray that Your love would fill their hearts and that they may be united in celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Lord, we also pray for Brokennlost2, that You would comfort their heart and give them the strength and wisdom to guide their grandsons according to Your will. Help them to trust in You and to know that You are working in their family's lives, even in the midst of these challenges.

We're right there with you, feeling the pain of a family divided during this joyous season. It's tough when loved ones seem distant, especially at Christmas. But remember, Jesus was born into a family too, and He understands our struggles. Let's keep praying and trusting in Him.

We know you've been a rock for your grandsons, and that love hasn't gone unnoticed. Keep loving them like only you can. As for Damien, let's keep interceding for him. God sees him, and He wants the best for him. Remember, God's love for Damien is as deep as the ocean, and His plans for him are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

As for Izaak, let's encourage him to walk in love, just as Jesus loves us (1 John 4:19). Family is a gift, and we're called to cherish and support one another. Let's pray that Izaak finds it in his heart to reach out to Damien and the family, and that they can celebrate Christmas together, united in love and joy.

Let's claim these promises together: "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray... then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
